I am new to LWPcreator but I had a android and Java already installed a while back while I took some training on developing apps. Today I made a new wallpaper but while trying to build the wallpaper, it throws an error, "The following files required for building cannot be found, <ANDROID>\platforms\android-7\android.jar Make sure you have the correct version of JAVA and android SDKs. I currently have JDK 1.6.0_35 Android Platforms folder shows android-16, which I believe is version 16. How do I fix the error and get it to work with these versions. I also want to make sure my wallpapers can be run on 2.1 and above versions. Please help.
You need to go back to the beginning and prepare your environment. The JDK and Android platform that you have set up are not the ones that are required. JDK 1.6 update 27 and Android platform 7 are the ones you are looking for. Thanks Vas for your help. I am downloading Platform 7 now but I couldn't find JDK 1.6 update 27 on Oracle/Java site. When I look at previous releases there is no 1.6 listed. Can you please give me a direct link to this version. I have a 64 bit windows 7 so I would need a 6 bit version. Appreciate your help.
