I use a combination of Startapp and Airpush. To be honest, I've never really encountered complaints about the ad itself, only the permissions it requires. I can't really calculate how many people don't install because of it, but it makes money, that's for sure One of the apps I put it into plateaued recently so I'm gonna try taking it out and see if that'll help.
really unhappy with airpush....so far.(lot of fluctuations in cpm's) this might help me a lot ..thank you
can anyone tell me...how startapp works i mean does it pay only for downloads ? also what after 1st download...will it try to change user settings again ? i mean i cant understand there model of working?
In Startapp you get paid per download. These downloads are in 3 categories - US downloads, Non US and returning downloads. You can check this link - http://www.startapp.com/faq.aspx
got it its like a one time payment when our app gets downloaded but still there sdk is present even when a user removes bookmark , shortcut . i mean they might be working in the background.. collecting user data secretly maybe? is there a way when user downloads ->we get paid ->sdk removed automatically from phone cuz it isn't generating money
