What do you want us to put in the wallpaper splash screen? The plan (just as with the settings screen) is to make these flexible by allowing you to enable or disable components that you want to appear in the settings. Additionally, we could implement different layouts for the splash. We're open to suggestions or mock-ups. (apologies for copy/pasting, but I wanted to keep these threads separate )
I attached a mockup design as a layout suggestion. If I can customize everything like the button placement/graphic/size, number of links, image/string placement and background in a WYSIWYG type editor, then I'd be really happy. <:
@Linda, thanks for the mockup. Not sure if it will be WYSIWYG in the release, but that's definitely something we want to move towards to
@Vas The picture of Linda described very well what we need, I think the splash should have a nice look and modern. Another thing Vas, when users press set live wallpaper can you make it to open directly live wallpaper and not going to the live wallpaper picker,this will be great too
@fatos, sadly to my knowledge skipping the live wallpaper picker will not be easy. I can almost guarantee that we won't be able to put this in until later. (meant to post this in this thread )
