Mandarin was funny! But even better, when Tony left that kid: (k= kid) k-Don't leave,... You should stay, y'know, we're connected (Tony Stark starts his vehicle) k-Are you going to leave me as my father did? t-yep. k-I'm cold... t-I know. You know how I can tell that? BECAUSE WE'RE CONNECTED!
Still no reply to this question I bought this on the understanding that Ver 3 was about to be released .not very professional
I'm curious, will there be any type of layer control and alignment options ? For instance, if layer type control is supported, I could have background image on layer 1, layer 2 is my particles, and layer 3 is a character that I don't want obscured by the particles in any way, anything like this possible ? And for alignment, assuming I can do something like 'layer 3' in the previous example, how would I align this to the exact centre of the screen without having to 'eyeball' it ? I'd love some sort photoshop style control, align left, align right, align centre horizontal, align centre vertical, align centre, etc ?
soon might be a couple of months so i suggest you practice your photoshop skills and make some wallpapers!
Excellent news, Vas. Regarding App Icons, how are these generated ( As far as I can tell, in the current version, it's a snapshot of the background image ) ? Would I be able to create my own ( Because my backdrops tend to be simple, and my foreground elements are 'where it's at' - So a snapshot of the backdrop wouldn't really suffice ) ? Secondary Question : Will it be possible to 'tile' ? So that I could animate a backdrop loop, for instance a flightpath over some land, which repeats ad infinitum ?
SOON see guys they are listening to all of us and I guess even they want to give us lwc 3 as soon as possible Also I told na in shout box...abt release my predictions are coming true
1. Yes. 2. I'm having trouble visualizing what you explained. Can you show me an example, or maybe break it down a bit further?
Thanks, Vas, the icon thing was important, so I'm glad that it is available. Off hand, do you happen to know the correct size an Icon should be, that way I can create them ahead of version 3's arival ? With Tiling, I mean it in the same way it would be implemented within a games engine, for instance I would create a texture, make sure it tiles in any direction, U or V ( or Horizontal and Vertical ), and when the same texture tiles against itself, it looks like it's one continuous texture. There's a little example here : - http://www.photoshoptextures.com/texture-tutorials/seamless-textures.htm Other than that use, it would be useful so that I could perhaps create parallax backgrounds that seem to go on forever, even though it is the same graphic tiled endlessly. With the flightpath example I mentioned earlier, I could create an image that is twice the height of the screen, 960x2 = 1920 pixels high, the image might consist of a terrain that if joined together ( top or bottom ), would tile or 'join' seamlessly, giving the illusion that the texture / image is endless ( and that you are flying over an infinite landscape ), combine that with some cloud particles, etc and you could end up with a pretty nice LWP. Let me know if I've not explained any of this clearly enough and you want me to elaborate further. Regards. EDIT : Added YouTube Video demonstrating a scrolling backdrop that is tiled, look at yellow flowers, it's clear to see where the image 'tiles', but looks like it goes on forever.
