Georgia at Missouri NOON ESPN- The second ranked Bulldogs travel yet another SEC themed Columbia to take on the Tigers. Mizzou is 3-0 with a barnburner 40-37 win over Purdue last week. Georgia is 3-0 as well after a comfortable 49-7 win over Middle Tennessee State. The Dogs haven’t scored less than 41 points in a game thus far. The Tigers’ OC is none other than a familiar face in Derek Dooley. Georgia could be caught looking ahead a bit to rival Tennessee this week. Mizzou’s defense will have to show up big time to contain the powerful UGA offense that has several receiving weapons. Georgia prospect to watch1. Deandre Baker 5’11 180 CB Senior- Baker is one of the best cornerback prospects in this year’s class. He’s always around the ball it seems. Plays hard every play. Has a tendency to get beat badly on 9 routes due to some athleticism issues. Opposing QBs can bait him into being too aggressive at times.2. Mecole Hardman 5’10 183 WR Junior- He’s arguably one of the fastest receivers in the country. A big play specialist for the Dogs offense. Could be something special as a slot receiver at the next level. 3. Terry Godwin 5’11 185 WR Senior- The go to weapon for QB Jake Fromm. Has a habit of making incredible catches out of nowhere. Excellent blocker when asked to do it. Technically sound as a route runner. Not the best athlete at receiver but has just enough speed. 4. J.R. Reed 6’0 195 S RS Junior- The fearless leader of the secondary. Fundamentally sound as most defenders are under HC Kirby Smart and DC Mel Tucker. Knows how to wrap up and make the right reads in pass coverage. Ideally suited for a box safety role at the next level. Missouri prospect to watch1. Drew Lock 6’3 225 QB Senior- Lock might have the strongest arm in the class. The deep ball is there for him. Pocket awareness is generally good. Arm is NFL ready. Can make every throw in the book. Nice quick and compact delivery. No wasted motion. Above average athlete that can make things happen on the move. What is his biggest negative? In a word Navy Jayon Brown Jersey , consistency. When it goes bad, it’s all over the place. He doesn’t have any touch at times and solely relies on his fastball to get through. Many of his throws were of the where the in the world are you throwing variety. He profiles as a Jake Locker.#22 Texas A&M at #1 Alabama 3:30 PM CBS- Jimbo Fisher gets another shot at taking down his mentor Nick Saban so soon after leaving Florida State for College Station. The last time we saw the Aggies was when they lost a heartbreaker to Clemson. Bama had a dominant 62-7 win over Ole Miss last week where it just smothered the Rebels from the jump. A&M QB Kellen Mond will have to exploit a untested Tide secondary to have a chance. Texas A&M prospect to watch1. Daylon Mack 6’0 320 DL Senior- Mack is finally a senior this year. Hasn’t really lived up to his five star billing but that could be placed at the feet of an incompetent coaching staff. Has been a breath of fresh air as a senior thus far under the tutelage of DC Mike Elko. A physical force in the middle of the line. Underrated athlete. Power is the name of his game.Alabama prospects to watch1. Ross Pierschbacher 6’3 304 OL RS Senior- One of the best guard prospects in the country moved to center as a senior. He has been pretty solid as the center of the Tide OL. Character and work ethic are major pluses. A mauler type with some high level technique in his arsenal.2. Jonah Williams 6’5 301 OT Junior- Next man up in the Tide OL program. One of the best tackles in the nation. The starter at left tackle. Footwork and anchor are elite. Technician. Has the prerequisite size and strength to make it to the next level. Should come out as a junior.3. Deionte Thompson 6’2 194 S RS Junior- The next man up for a woefully inexperienced Tide secondary. He’s the leader with only six starts to his name. Could he be the next Ronnie Harrison aka the guy no one knows about but will get drafted anyway?#17 TCU at Texas 4:30 PM Fox- TCU travels to weird Austin for a mid afternoon date with Texas. The Horns are coming off a huge win over USC last week while the Horned Frogs lost in a deflating fashion to Ohio State in nearby Arlington. TCU is 5-1 over Texas since joining the Big 12. Texas will need to recover quickly from an emotional program defining win to compete against a ridiculously talented offense that TCU has. Expect a shootout. Will likely need an invite to an postseason event to get on the radar. Texas prospects to watch1. Kris Boyd 6’0 195 CB Senior- The leader of a growing Horns secondary. He stuck around the program when several teammates left the team early. A playmaker. Size and speed are a plus. Was briefly suspended for an issue. Teams will have to some digging on that. 2. Breckyn Hager 6’3 255 EDGE Senior- Hager transitioned to an edge role after playing mainly as a linebacker his first three years. Speed and athleticism are above average. He has been largely absent of any big plays so far into the 2018 season for some unknown reason. A bowling ball of relentless energy. 3. Collin Johnson 6’6 215 WR Junior- The Horns’ jump ball specialist. Route running is just average but he uses his size well to box out defenders to make a tough catch. The main target for the QB but QB issues have prevented him from being the true dominant threat he could become. A willing blocker most of the time. He’s one of the best tight end prospects in the nation.Titans sign Delanie Walker to a 2 year contract extension It’s been a big day in Nashville. After practice today the Titans announced they that had signed Delanie Walker to a 2-year contract extensionelanie has been the lifeblood of this offense since he came here. In fact, no tight end has more receptions than Walker since he joined the Titans. That’s right Navy Josh Kline Jersey , more than the guys you are drafting in your fantasy football drafts like Rob Gronkowski and Travis Kelce.It will be interesting to see what his role is in this new offense. He is versatile enough that he can thrive in any system. He has the speed to get down the field, runs great routes and is a really good blocker. You don’t find many guys that have that total package.Delanie is also great in the locker room. He was one of the first guys years ago to speak up about the change of culture needed inside that building.It has been a big day for Jon Robinson.
